दिग्गज - GREAT PERSONALITIES

 Dr. Shriram Lagu was in Satara for his stage show. I went to the hotel where he was staying, requested to spare few time for me and allow to take few photos. He gave me half an hour. I got very nice portraits of Doctor Shriram Lagu.

 I had been to Panhala (Kolhapur) and it was a golden opportunity to stay with Shri. Sudhir Moghe, a great name in Marathi poetry.  Now I have, in my collection, so many portraits of Sudhirji.

 It was Pandir Hariprasadji's 75th birthday. All his students have arranged big function at Neharu Center, Worali. In the auditorium I saw Pandit Shivkumaraji. In interval I clicked this portrait

 I have got one more opportunity to stay with Sudhir Moghe. It was a farm house near Pune. This time famous stage and cinema actor Shri Srikantji Moghe was with us. I got very nice portraits of Shrikanji.

Shri. Appasaaheb Jalgaonkar. This I snapped at Samarth Seva Mandal - Rajwada Satara.

 Pandit Shri. Vijay Ghate - a famous name in Tabala. I got this photo at St. Xavier College, Mumbai.

 First time I saw Shri. Mangeshji Padgavkar - a great name in  Marathi poetry.  I have not missed this chance and took so many photos of this towering personality.

 Ustadjis mehefil of Morning Ragas was at Gateway of India. He was returning to Hotel Tajmahal. I was following him and got an opportunity to click.

 As a chief guest at one function Madhuji was at Satara. I had been to that hotel where she was staying. I have requested her to give her signatures on the photographs of her which I have snapped while her performance in Lavani Mohotsav. She liked all those photos and she requested me to give all those photos to her.  Then she came out of the room for fresh photo session and I took some close ups of Madhuji.

As a chief guest of one function  Shri Narayan Surve had been to Wai. I went to Wai with a hope of getting his photo. I got few close ups of this great personality a very famous name in  Marathi Poetry

Dr. Mashelkar was Chief Guest for the Annual Gathering of New English School Satara.  After the main function was over I got an opportunity to take his few close ups.

I took this  portrait  at Panhala. It was memorable day. To listen Shri. Sudhir Mogheji on his poems, songs was  great experience.
